Up to now Balloting in five Lok Sabha
constituencies in Rajasthan began on 17 April and finishes with final round on
voting in the state on 24 April. Over eight million electors, which including
3.7 million women’s are eligible to vote in 9,113 polling stations where
192,000 poll officials have been deployed. The first phase saw 20
constituencies going to the polls.In the second and final phase 59.64 per cent
of 81 lakh voters go for voting in five Lok Sabha constituencies. Elections completed in Rajasthan and
the state turnout average is 62.9 per cent as compared to 48.4 per cent in the
last Lok Sabha polls. Seats from Dausa seat make record a polling of 60.81 per cent, from Alwar
it is 65.14 per cent, Karauli-Dholpur 53.98, Bharatpur 56.7, and Tonk- Sawaimadhopur
60.72 pc; final addition of poll percentage remain to be clear.
